Four Words Opt-In Policy

How recipients join Four Words and how consent is obtained. This policy is provided for regulatory transparency and for anyone who wants to understand exactly how the list is managed.

What Four Words is

Four Words is a daily Christian devotional sent by SMS. Each morning, recipients receive a single text message containing a theological quote from a historical or contemporary Reformed author, followed by a short four-word phrase of encouragement.

How consent is obtained

Every Four Words recipient is personally invited by the sender (Matthew Arozian) after a conversation in person or by phone. No recipient is added without verbal consent. The full verbal script used for invitations is published at four-words.marozian.com/optin-script.

There is a request-to-join form on this website. The form is a request only — it does not automatically add anyone to the list. When a request is submitted, the sender is notified and will reach out personally to the requester by phone or email. The recipient is added only after a real conversation and verbal consent, following the standard verbal opt-in script.

There is no automatic signup path. Every addition happens by hand, after a real conversation.

Audience

Recipients are friends, family, and church community members of the sender. The list is kept small and private intentionally. Four Words is not a marketing list, a distribution list, or a mass-broadcast service.

Message frequency

One message per day, per recipient. Sent each morning in the Eastern Time Zone. The sender may occasionally skip a send at their discretion.

Opt-out

Recipients may opt out at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any Four Words message (processed immediately by the carrier)
• Submitting a request with "OPT OUT" in the message field
• Asking the sender directly in person or by phone

Opt-out requests are honored immediately. Once opted out, no further messages are sent.
